The overview of this course

Good teachers teach not just by reading out textbooks, but by lighting up imaginations. 

Wow! I feel the time pass quickly. 16 weeks is the most valuable and memorable. We learned so much!

What did you find easy?

In my opinion, I think finding discourse markers is easy because it have form how to find 

discourse markers.

What did you find difficult?

I think find graphic organizer is a little bit hard for me because I dizzy about cause and effect but now I alreadt understand it.

 What did you solve the problem?

I do my best and tried to pay attention so hard in classroom.

What are your attitudes towards the lesson?

I think the lessons are very useful for applications to the field of my study. And it will help my future career teachers.

Thank you so much teacher for everything that you do for me and everyone. It's not easy to do something to accomplish by lack of support. But now, everything has gone well. This term, everything seems to be better for me. I sat in front of the same, but I'm intend to learn more. Trying to do everything with myself. And it worked beyond expectation. Test scores are better than first course. It makes me proud of myself to be able to push myrself to this point. And because knowledge of teachers who made me good more than past.

 Learning from a good teacher is an experience that can sometimes be more profound than education itself. You have given me just that. Thanks

Week 15 Problem solving

Lesson one, just begun

Growing up, ain't much fun

Grown up, out of school

Out of luck and out of rules

No one there to tell me how

A different world - teacher, teacher, teach me now

Wow! Today is the last day of instruction. I feel the time pass quickly.

First, we started from check homework that teacher asked we to do.

Okay, we started from check title,main idea and graphic organizer. I have wrong answer in " How to Improve Your Memory". My graphic organizer is wrong. But I understand why I am wrong. I thought too much and so serious about it. I always think too much and it's make me feel so serious. I tried to relax when I read this passage but it's really hard because I want to do my best.

1.Solving Machine Gun Overheat and Malfunction Problems.

2.How to Improve Your Memory.

3. Preventing Road Accidents by Raising thr Minimum Driving Age.

4. Saving Cylists by Putting in Bike Lanes.

Next we check about choice question. My answers are right! That's make me feel very good!

Today we finished class very fast because the teacher has taught the end of course. The teacher wish we have a good life.

Week 14 Problem and Solution

Hi!!!!

I am tired of this place, I hope people change

I need time to replace what I gave away

And my hopes, they are high, I must keep them small

What are Problem and Solution?

Problem and Solution is a pattern of organization where information in a passage is expressed as a dilemma or concerning issue (a problem) and something that was, can be, or should be done to remedy this issue (solution or attempted solution). The problem and solution text structure may seem like it would be easy to recognize, but it can be moderately difficult to identify because it is frequently confused with the cause and effect pattern of organization, as they both have relational structures; however, if you read the passage and look specifically for both a problem and a solution to the problem, you should find it pretty easy to distinguish from cause and effect, as cause and effect passages do not propose solutions to any negative occurrences within the passage but rather just explain why or how they happen.

Example: It seems like there has been a surge in teen pregnancies these days. Teen pregnancies make it very difficult for young mothers to pursue their dreams and meet the demands of an infant. Fortunately, most teen pregnancies can be easily prevented by using birth control; however, even birth control is not 100% effective. The most effective way to prevent teen pregnancies is abstinence, which is 100% effective.

There are also a few signal words which may indicate that information in a passage is ordered in the problem and solution pattern of organization: propose, solution, answer, issue, problem, problematic, remedy, prevention, and fix.

Today,we leared about problem-solution. It's a little bit hard! I'm feeling dizzy when I have to find the problem markers.

And then we have exam. Wo wo wo! I have problem a bit because I take the time to read too much and I almost didn't finish the test of time. OMG! I felt like I'm so stupid but I so great about myself. I can do it! I know that it's true. Everything is possible,there's nothing we can't do. It's a wild and beautiful fire and I believe in myself!

Week 13 Exemplication

I'm back!!!!

Today is my day! I'm so lucky!

    What is Exemplication?

 How to use Exemplication.

Commoly used transitions in abbreviations and transition in exemplification text!

Example

We started from check homework with a friend sitting beside me that we have the same answer or different answer. Then,read text and answer the questions.

next,the teacher asked we to read the text carefully and find discause maekers in the text. I found a difficult words!  'utter'

Finally,we learned a little bit about 'Problem-solution' and the teacher asked we to work in groups about this topic.

Week 12 Definition and Classification

What is Definition?

Defind : to say what the meaning of something.

What is Classification?

Classify : to devide thinhs into groups according to thrie type.
