Week 16 Learning Reflection in English Reading Strategies Course

15 weeks ago!! Wow, it's great. It always goes too fast. Since the course i gained a wealth of knowledge.  Whether it's how to read. The correct pronunciation, vocabulary, interpretation the words into English meaning. But everything is a priority for me. Thanks a teacher who made 15 weeks ago worth.

Previewing : Learning about a text before really reading it.

Previewing enables readers to get a sense of what the text is about and how it is organized before reading it closely. This simple strategy includes seeing what you can learn from the headnotes or other introductory material, skimming to get an overview of the content and organization, and identifying the rhetorical situation.

How to read?

- Skimming is reading the text as soon as the first reading 2-3 or 2-3, then skip to the first sentence. May cross a sentence or a line. Or read a sentence First and last sentence of each paragraph. Or read specific words or phrases that are important reading is. 2 The main aim is to keep reading or thematic issues. And to keep reading Some important details

**Charming reading skills useful to save time to read because it allows the reader to read faster and understand the various thematic readings without the need to read. Throughout the story details.**



-Scanning is how to find specific information such as the date, location, name, etc., it is shown to the reader to see clearly in the texts. But, as was noted above that. Readers need to know enough vocabulary. The words starting with the big kid. Does not refer to any particular location. May refer to a person or a city or street name. Thanks for nice trips the teacher have told me. And for teaching us to demonstrate that the era of self-portrait. The presentation work. Q & A with my partner. The ideas within the group and the other group listened to presentations. Everything is trained us all to walk in the right way. And be a powerful teacher

What did you find easy? 

In my opinion is previewing! My trip is i will look for the meanings of the individual words, and then find the key words in each text, I believe that if the translation of the meanings of the terms are not and there are no tools to interpret it as a little story behind it.

What did you find difficult?

It is West messt East! This passage is very hard for me and my friends too. I try to much in this week!

How did you solve the problem?

I tried to read it several times and understand one by one paragraph.Consulted with friends when something is not understood. Use keywords to find what passage want to tell us.

What are your attitudes toward to the lesson?

In my opinion, I think this course is very important to me. It helped me to have more knowledge. Has developed its own potential even further. The teacher taught us to learn many things. Recommend ways to But who will be successful or not successful does not depend on whether a teacher is good or bad. Most people who are successful often come from trying to own 90%.

Week 15 Extensive reading part 2

Hey yoooooooooo!

15 weeks ago I wrote a blog. Why is this so fast? I have learned many things from the blogger! Okay,let join my last time to study in English Reading Strategies class!

At first teacher told our midterm test's score.I feel a little nervous about the exam because I left the room I thought I made many mistake. WOW, but who would've thought that it points out a little better than I thought. I was a little shocked at the score turned out better than I expected. I thought I would fall away again. But because of lack of confidence in itself, I like crazy people who are mentally distracted throughout. But it became a concern within the mind that makes no sense Mitts promote deeper. He points out, it makes me feel very good. Leave your concerns on that score if we have a book coming out and fully test it fully!

And then she answered exercises in worksheets together with guided us about how to find answers each parts. Teacher said that,"Have you done your homework?" My answer is "YES". I like to do homework with my friends. It gives us the answer in many different ways. After that we took together to just answer the best and only answer. These exercises were from passage "Simply read" It was a research about a group of Japanese students that didn't like English!! 

This exercise is quite difficult to put a number down on the line when we answer the question, then that sentence is true or false.But this passage make me feel so wondering "Why their scores were high score as much as regular English student?".   

For extensive reading, you should try to find a book to read English books. It helps develop reading skills that you have!!

Week 14 ASEAN and Extensive reading

First, we checked homework that teacher asked we to do. My answer was not correct all. There are only a few wrong. After that teacher asked we to make groups including 5 member. We used a little bit time to make groups. My groups are including Phattarahathai,Suwannee,Auttawut,Parrichat and me. The teacher asked we to talk about the impact of the ASEAN Community and preparing yourself for ASEAN Community. And then summary on the paper and presen to the other groups.

Next,my teacher asked  we to write words about researck on English language reading on whiteborad.

After that we talk about "Extensive reading". First,discuss the questions with a partner. Today i'm change a partner from Phattarahathai to Suwannee. The first question is "Do you often read in English for your private study?".

Do you often read in English for your private study?

My answer is yes,i'm reading on the Internet. I'm reading novels and fictions on the internet. I love novels on the internet because it's free and easy to find. I'm studying vocabulary from novel. I am useing dictionary online for find vocabulary.

And the last time in class teacher asked we to reading faster about "Simply read".

Week 13 Obstacles to faster reading part 2

Obstacles to faster reading!

Today we learn about read faster. We read passage " Obstacles to faster effective reading" and doing exercises decide whether the following statements are  T(true) and F(false) according to the information given in the passage. It's easy to do because vocabulary in this passage is easy to read and understand. I can read faster and understand this passage. And next exercises is check my answer to exercise before this by scanning for specific information in the passage which is related to the true/flase sentences. Underline the information. And next exercise is part B. It's about Hints for readind practice.Just choose words from exercise before this to fill in the blanks. It's very easy. Yes,my answer is all correct. After that we have to read passage again and check correct answer to this exercise. It's happen again my all answer is correct!

Hints for reading practice : Try not to let your eyes regress.

                                            Do not vocalize.

                                            Read words in groups.

                                            Practice speed reading on                                                         material that is not too difficult.

And in the last 30 minute of class we go to learn about "The ASEAN Community". We watch video about The ASEAN Community 2015.  

What is  ASEAN mean?

ASEAN means Association of South East AsianNations.

Today we learn about "How to write to advice to people who have problem". It's a little bit hard for me because i have sick today. My brain want to lay me down on bed every time. My teacher asked  we to write words about obstacles to faster reading on whiteborad.

After that we doing the exercises part A. It's about "Practical Faster Reading". First column is Faster effective reading. It's explain about how to read faster. And now is time out. We finished class and teacher asked we to do homework for next week.

Week 11 Description of Books and Novels

Description of Books and Novels!

Hi Midterm test! OMG! My heart will go on....go on with my test! I fell like i have lost my brain!

And now  we went back to study. The teacher gave us some kinds of books and asked us about questions like "What is the title of this book?"  After that teacher asked us to do the exercises in new worksheets. The teacher asked us to read the text about books and novels and answered the questions from the text. It's easy and i can did it. I love to read novels because it make me funny,happy,fall in love and many feel. 
For reading English, you should try to find a book to read English books. It will help develop reading skills, you can do such as Harry Potter. You can think of many aspects of the book. Whether it's general knowledge books or novels. Books, but books have value and meaning in itself. And books that create value for the people who read it.
